Don’t just spray the surface Spray helps short term. Protectors work every night by sealing your mattress, duvet and pillows from dust mite allergens.
Upgrade to Protector SetThis eucalyptus dust mite spray is designed for short-term relief on fabrics, bedding, mattresses, sofas and soft furnishings.
For longer-lasting support with skin irritation, night-time breathing, and dust mite exposure in bed, we recommend upgrading to the Dust Mite Treatment Kit, which includes protective bedding encasements to help block dust mites and allergens at the source.
| Option | Best for | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Dust Mite Spray | Short-term treatment of fabrics and soft furnishings | Does not seal your mattress, duvet or pillows |
| Dust Mite Treatment Kit | Longer-lasting bed protection and nightly allergy control | Higher upfront cost, but better overall protection |
We use eucalyptus essential oil. Research has shown eucalyptus oil can reduce house dust mite activity. See a study in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology for more detail: read the paper.
Mattresses, pillows, duvet covers, encasements, carpets, rugs, curtains, sofas, prams, soft toys and pet beds.
It can help with short-term surface treatment, but it is not the full solution. For longer-lasting protection, use it alongside dust mite mattress, duvet and pillow encasements.
Because the kit helps tackle the bed itself, where dust mite exposure is often highest. The spray treats surfaces, while the protectors help create a barrier around your mattress, duvet and pillows.
Use only as directed. Let fabrics dry fully before use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not spray near faces, eyes or directly onto skin.
It is designed as a light mist, but always test on a small hidden area first, especially on delicate fabrics.
Use 1–3 times a week on key spots. Combine with washing, vacuuming, humidity control and protective bedding for best results.
For longer-lasting protection, pair with: mattress encasements, pillow encasements, duvet encasements, HEPA mattress vacuums, and an air dehumidifier.
Always read the label. Use biocides safely. Results vary by surface, usage, washing routine and home conditions.
At iDustMite®, everything we do is designed for people with dust mite allergies.
Not some people. Not most people. You.
From the first design sketch to the final stitch, our dust mite pillow protectors, duvet protectors, and mattress encasements are made with one clear goal — to help dust mite allergy sufferers sleep in a cleaner, calmer bed.
Because when bedding is designed for dust mite allergies from the start, nothing important gets missed:
Precision stitching to reduce weak points where allergens can escape
Sealed zip closures for full pillow, duvet, and mattress encasement
Dust mite-proof materials designed to help keep allergens trapped inside
We openly show how our products are tested — many bedding brands do not.
Our dust mite pillow, duvet, and mattress protectors are independently tested by Shirley®, a respected UK laboratory known for textile performance and barrier testing.
All iDustMite® fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they are tested for harmful substances and are suitable for both adults and children, including those with sensitive skin.
Our encasements are engineered with a ~5 micron dust mite barrier, designed to help block dust mites and their allergens from escaping the bedding — where exposure most often happens.

This focus on transparent testing, material safety, and purpose-built design is why iDustMite® is made specifically for dust mite allergy sufferers — not a one-size-fits-all bedding solution.
Eucalyptus silk naturally helps repel dust mites by reducing the warm, damp conditions they need to thrive.
It has excellent moisture-wicking and breathability, helping keep bedding drier throughout the night.
Our 1,000 thread count eucalyptus silk, woven in a tight percale weave, creates a dense fabric structure that helps block dust mites while staying smooth and gentle on sensitive skin.
