Dust Mite Allergy Symptoms and Signs
Dust mites are tiny creatures that live in house dust, beds, and carpets. They do not bite. Their droppings and body pieces cause allergies.
If you or your child wake up sneezing, blocked, or itchy, dust mites may be the cause. Symptoms can be worse at night and first thing in the morning.
Key Signs of Dust Mite Allergy
You likely have a dust mite allergy if your symptoms are worst when:
- You are in bed or just after waking up
- You feel better after 1 hour awake and outside
