How it works
An ordinary pillow is an open buffet. Loose filling gives dust mites room to move, and a loose cover lets your skin cells straight through to feed them. Your face rests on it for eight hours a night. These pillows are built to do the opposite.
➤ 40 micron tested eucalyptus silk shell keeps skin cells out, so there is nothing inside for dust mites to feed on
➤ Densely packed anti dust mite hollowfibre leaves mites almost no room to move through the filling
➤ Washable at 60°C, the only temperature research shows kills dust mites, and the filling does not clump afterwards
➤ Tumble dry safe and 600g per pillow, small enough to fit a normal washing machine and dryer
➤ Chemical free and OEKO-TEX certified, nothing sprayed on to build up new irritation on sensitive or eczema-prone skin
➤ Medium firmness, soft against the face without collapsing by morning
Most customers find two pillows per person gives the best result, one to sleep on and one in the wash, and better comfort than a single thicker pillow. A couple usually orders two sets.
The 40 micron shell keeps skin cells out of the filling. To block 100% of dust mites and their allergens across your whole bed, you need the 5 micron zip-sealed protectors over your mattress, pillows and duvet.
Yes. The pillows are sized to slide straight inside our Standard 50cm x 75cm Anti Dust Mite Pillow Protectors with the zip closing easily. That is the combination we recommend: a pillow dust mites cannot live in, sealed inside a protector they cannot get through.
The shell keeps their food out. Dust mites do not eat fabric, they eat the dead skin cells you shed every night. The eucalyptus silk outer shell is tested at 40 microns, tight enough to stop skin cells passing into the filling, so the inside of the pillow never becomes a food source.
The filling gives them nowhere to live. The anti dust mite hollowfibre is densely packed rather than loose, so mites struggle to move through it and cannot establish deep inside the way they do in a standard pillow.
60°C resets it. Washing at 60°C kills dust mites. Most pillows clump or flatten at that temperature, which is why people avoid it. These are built to be washed hot and keep their loft.
Eucalyptus silk outer shell, OEKO-TEX certified and free from harmful chemicals, so nothing is sitting against your face that could cause its own reaction. The same fabric used across our protector range.
Filling is iDustMite anti dust mite hollowfibre, non-allergenic, medium firmness, 600g per pillow.

Two mechanisms, no chemicals. One keeps their food out, the other gives them nowhere to live.
Your dead skin cells are what dust mites feed on. The eucalyptus silk outer shell is tested at 40 microns, tight enough to stop those cells getting into the filling.
Densely packed hollowfibre, not loose fill. Mites struggle to move through it, so they cannot establish deep inside the pillow the way they do in an ordinary one.
60°C kills dust mites. These are made to take that wash and tumble dry without clumping, so you can actually keep the routine up rather than avoiding it like you do with a normal pillow.
The pillows fit inside our 5 micron zip sealed pillow protectors. That combination blocks 100% of dust mites where your face rests. Most customers do both.
What changes, and roughly when.
Your face rests on a pillow with no established dust mite population, and a 40 micron shell keeping your skin cells out of the filling.
Facial irritation, under-eye puffiness and morning congestion begin to ease as night-time exposure at the pillow drops.
Wash at 60°C and tumble dry. Unlike an ordinary pillow it comes out with its loft intact, which is what makes this a routine you keep.
Pair the pillows with 5 micron zip sealed protectors on your pillows, mattress and duvet and you have blocked dust mites across the whole bed, not just one layer.
Everything you need to know about the pillows.
This is the question we get most on the phone. The protectors are the priority: they are 5 micron zip sealed, block 100% of dust mites, and go over whatever pillow you already own. These pillows are the next step up, a pillow that dust mites struggle to live in to begin with, with a 40 micron shell and densely packed filling. Most customers who are serious about it do both, and the pillows slide straight inside the protectors. If you can only do one thing, do the protectors first.
Yes. They are sized to slide into our Standard 50cm x 75cm pillow protectors with the zip closing easily. No bulk, no bunching, no crinkle.
The set is two pillows. Most customers find two pillows per person gives the best result for allergy reduction and comfort, one on the bed and one in the wash. A couple usually orders two sets. Each pillow is deliberately sized to fit a normal washing machine and dryer easily.
If your old pillows are years old then yes, they are part of the problem. If they are fairly new and you would rather keep them, put them inside our pillow protectors instead and save the money. Call us on 0330 122 1646 and we will tell you honestly which is worth doing in your case.
No. Nothing is sprayed on. The shell is OEKO-TEX certified eucalyptus silk, which matters if you have eczema or sensitive skin, because a treated pillow can cause a reaction of its own. The protection comes from the 40 micron weave and the density of the filling, so it cannot wash out.
Medium. Soft enough against the face for side and back sleepers, supportive enough that they do not collapse by morning. The eucalyptus silk shell is smooth and silent, nothing like a crinkly plastic-backed pillow.
Every one to three months at 60°C, or monthly if your symptoms are severe. If you use a pillow protector over the top, wash the protector monthly and the pillow less often.
Wash at 60°C, the temperature that kills dust mites, and tumble dry. Each pillow is 600g so both fit a standard domestic machine and dryer without a trip to the laundrette. They are built to keep their loft after a hot wash, which is the thing ordinary pillows fail at.
Standard UK pillow size, matching our Standard 50cm x 75cm pillow protectors, so your existing pillowcases fit. King size pillows are on the way. If you have a King bed and King protectors, call us on 0330 122 1646 and we will let you know when they land.
UK orders dispatch quickly with tracking, and delivery is free on orders over £100. The pillows carry a 1 year warranty. Because these are bedding we cannot take back used pillows, but unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days, and if there is ever a fault we will sort it.
