These do two different jobs, and most people need the protector first.

This duvet protector is the sealed barrier. It goes directly onto your duvet, zips shut, and blocks the dust mites living inside it. This is the part that does the allergy work.

Anti dust mite bedding is what goes on top. It is what you see, feel and wash weekly.

You can keep using your own duvet cover on top of this protector. Most customers do.

Match the size to your duvet, not to your mattress. They are different, and this is the most common mistake.

No. Fit it straight onto the duvet you already have and zip it shut. Whatever is living inside is sealed in and cut off from its food source, so the mites die off naturally with no chemicals and nothing for you to do.

No. The protector has built-in ties inside, so you can attach the duvet at each corner and it stays exactly where it should. The protector is also cut to the duvet size rather than oversized, so the duvet sits flat inside it.

It works best paired with our Eucalyptus Silk Duvet, which has loops built in for the ties to attach to. If your own duvet has corner loops or tabs, the ties will attach to those too.

No chemicals at all. Our eucalyptus silk fabric is woven so tightly that the pores measure around 5 microns, which is small enough to stop dust mites and their allergen particles from getting through. It works purely through the fabric structure, so it never washes out. All materials are OEKO-TEX certified and safe for sensitive skin.

Wash or vacuum the protector monthly at 60 degrees, which is the temperature scientifically proven to kill dust mites.

It can be spin dry but will cause wear and tear,do not tumble try. Instead we recommend hang dry as it will dry quickly due to the eucalyptus silk

No crinkle and no crunch. It is 1,000 thread count eucalyptus silk, not plastic or PVC. It is quiet when you move, breathable, and does not trap heat. Customers who expected something plasticky consistently say it feels like silk.

It is OEKO-TEX certified and free from harsh chemicals, so it suits eczema, asthma and sensitive skin.

Cheap protectors usually fail in one of three ways: the weave is too loose to actually block allergens, the zip leaves a gap, or the fabric is a plastic membrane that is hot and noisy so you stop using it.

Ours uses a micro-weave 10 times smaller than a dust mite, a fully sealed zip, and eucalyptus silk that is comfortable enough to keep on the bed. It is built to last years of 60 degree washes.
